if you are on vacation and it is raining, it is important to know that no matter where you leave your open laptop, that is where the leak will occur in the middle of the night! Your hubby's work laptop with all his client files (backed up or not) will be lost forever and you will spend precious paradise hours fighting with hotel insurance companies about the validity of your claim (as you feverishly pour water out of your laptop & try to dry it w/ a hair dryer in hopes that some computer programer will be able to extract information before the entire thing rusts over).
in addition to a crabby husband and looming new computer costs, you will be forced to blog from the hotel lobby's internet kiosk on a shared computer at the rate of 20 cents a minute....
