My shopping style - I would go straight to the clearance section and stay there - get exactly $50 worth & get out of there for $40 - when you stay in the clearance section you can easily leave with a couple bags of stuff at this price - think stock up stuff - basic items and if you have kids think of classic stuff they will need in the coming months or even next year.  My kids have almost everything they need for the next size up - all are hand me downs or deeply discounted clearance items - and if you ask me, they always look stylish and cute!
