Mermaid Barbie Party at Toys R Us Saturday March 13th noon - 2pm

Got at email from Toys R Us this morning letting me know about their latest party this weekend! There will be a Mermaid Barbie party with coloring, activities, 'and more' - usually these parties are very low key - but a great place to get stickers, coloring sheets, sometimes a small promotional toy (although it makes no mention of one in this email), special discounts, and hang out with other kids.

Our kids love these - we have attended 'Geoffrey's birthday party', Thomas the train parties, Super Why, and more - if you have smaller kids these can be ALOT of fun.

While you are there - make sure to sign up for the Birthday club! Your child will get a $3 gift card in the mail (no minimum purchase necessary) and when they show up to redeem it make sure to let them know it is their birthday - they will get a crown, balloon, and a shout out on the intercom - it makes them feel like little rock stars! And that $3 gift card makes their birthday money go a little further - I am trying to teach mine young about the benefits of having a promo or coupon!

Amazon has 'superstar' barbie on sale for only $3! Lots of retailers will have $3 Barbies to celebrate her 50th birthday (seriously - Barbie is 50!?) - of course other stores will sell out soon!
