Her family has set up an informational & fundraising website for those who are interested in Penny's journey. They will be having an auction to help pay for her medical bills coming up March 19th. If any of my readers have something to contribute please click on her link & contact them directly - but also email me here - I will be posting the auction when it is up and running & I will give any of my generous readers a special plug with a link to their website.
As far as I know, this is NOT a tax write off - this is just a do it out of the goodness of your heart kinda thing - which I know my readers have ALOT of. =)
I don't know the family exactly - I went to High School with Penny's Aunt and as a mom of two little ones myself I am simply obsessed with her story. Please let me know if you are able to help! I would LOVE to give you a shout out and I would LOVE for my readers to help Penny's mommy & daddy have one less thing to worry about.

ReplyDeletehi Gigi ~ that is AWESOME - I just looked too at their site & apparently it is crashing but they are working on it - are you on facebook? you could join the 'Pennies 4 Penny' fan page & contact them there w/ your Avon party idea - I am sure they would LOVE it! SInce the site has crashed, that is probably the fastest way to get ahold of them, or just wait out the technical difficulties - let me know when you have it all set up - I will post a plug for you here!
