Carlsbad Restaurant Week ~ made better with this Vigilucci's & Costco scenario

Check out http://www.shopcarlsbadvillage.org/ and notice that there are several restaurants participating.  I am sure you could have an awesome time and save some money at any number - but this is what we have done in the past.... We LOVE Vigilucci's - so yummy, so expensive, so worth it!
You will see that they have a $30 per person menu during Carlsbad Restaurant Week which is an excellent price for Vigilucci's - you are not able to combine with any other offers - HOWEVER - if you are a Costco member you can often purchase a restaurant gift card that includes several restaurants (one being Vigilucci's) with a $100 value for $80 - not bad, purchase that with your Executive membership - bam - 2% back, buy it with your Costco AmEx - bam - another 2% back. I would suggest calling Costco before making a special trip as ONE time we tried to purchase and they were all out, but we have purchased this exact gift card several times each year as gifts and as a way to save on our own date nights.
