I need your hot tips for a family trip to San Francisco!

So I am actually asking for your help!  My family will be taking a trip this fall to San Francisco.  We would LOVE all your vacation tips - especially those that are good for the family and inexpensive.  We will be traveling with two preschoolers so kid friendly is key.
