AWESOME Legoland Discount - Brick or Treat + FREE day!
REPOST! we went last week & it was so much fun! On the 'Brick Or Treat' trail our kids got candy (of course) but also a coupon for free Chipotle, Sammy's messy sundaes, cliff bars, apples (yes real apples!), baseball cards, and much more! They also got on a few of their favorite rides - we brought our own dinner into the park & we had LOTS of fun!
If you are planning at trip to Legoland CA I HIGHLY suggest you NOT just drive up and purchase tickets at the ticket booth. Legoland is an awesome place for preschoolers but in my opinion the admission price is a little high - but they do offer awesome discounts from time to time that can really make it much more reasonable.
Brick Or Treat is a GREAT opportunity to have fun at Legoland at a GREAT discount! Saturdays in October there is a very fun and kid friendly event to celebrate Halloween. We love it because it is not so scary.
Click the link above - there are two great options
- $30 tickets for evening admission to Legoland for Brick Or Treat
- $59 tickets - ALL DAY admission PLUS a 2nd day admission for free (basically $29.50 each for two trips - nice!)
Keep in mind general admission to Legoland is $67 for adults and $57 for kids so this is a GREAT discount.
Last year our family took advantage of the 2nd day free option - we went to Legoland for Brick or Treat and then again for Christmas - so much fun!
Enjoy ~

Legoland Aquarium Tix for $5 through Groupon!
Check out Groupon for an awesome deal for the whole family! Legoland Aquarium Tickets for $5 each! What a great deal!
Hurry! This offer is only good today through Groupon - have you heard of Groupon yet? It's a 'group - coupon' - get it? They have a new deal everyday that is drastically discounted but it is only good for one day.
We went to the Legoland aquarium last year, it is amazing! We spend a lot of time at aquariums, but this one is really great for people with small kids - staring with the cool slide when you walk in, to the cool 'at their level' exihibits, to the funny Lego guys dispersed throughout the exhibit.

Legoland 'Model Moms' Passes are a GREAT Deal!
If you have kids (or grandkids) under 4 years old, a 'Model Mom' pass may be a great investment for you.
Legoland (in my opinion) at face value is kind of a rip off. They do often have good incentives to get you in the door, and rip off or not, little kids LOVE it.
One thing our family has enjoyed in the past is the 'Model Mom' pass. It is much less expensive (but of course more restrictive) than the typical pass, but still a great deal.
Here is the breakdown ~
*a Model Mom pass is $77 for the whole year
*you must be the parent, grandparent, or caregiver to a child under 4
(birth certificate is necessary - our son was adopted from Russia - and let me tell you - it is pretty amusing to watch the guest relation guy pretend to verify the info on a birth certificate that is written in a language he clearly doesn't read, but that is another story...)
*you are only allowed to come on Thursdays - every Thursday in the year, but only Thursday
*free parking on Thursdays
*discounts on food at most restaurants
*fun activites just for 'Model Moms' - ie - FREE Stroller Strides class the first Thursday of the month
*lots of free family passes - the year we had a pass we had several free passes to share with Daddy & others who wanted to join occasionally but didnt want the commitment of the pass.
*Here is the only thing that irks me about the Model Mom pass - your kids are free until they turn 3 years old. The model mom pass if for parents (etc) of kids under 4. Once your child turns 3 you will need to get them a pass as well - here is the kicker - there is no 'Model kids' version - if you want to bring your kids in with you, you will need to get them the full year pass - good multiple days - not just Thursday & of course not nearly as good of a deal & of course they expect you then to purchase an upgrade for yourself - that bugs me personally.
We took advantage of this deal when our kids were 2 years old - I got a 'Model Mom' pass just that year and just didn't renew once they turned 3. We have found other online incentives to go to Legoland on a budget since then, but those Thursday playdates sure were fun!

It is free to park and to play in the pumpkin patch (our city kids could have romped in the pumpkin patch all day). TWO TRIPS TO LEGOLAND FOR $25 per person!!! Must Buy Tickets Online
Legoland is an awesome place for little ones, but simply out of our family's budget. I was so excited when I found this deal! $25 per person for the 'Brick or Treat Party' plus a bonus ticket good for a regular admission! Our whole family can go to the park twice for $100 total!
(a one day pass is normally $65 for adults & $55 for children - so this really is a GREAT DEAL!)
If you book online http://brickortreat.com/?uid=tickets to attend the 'Brick or Treat' party at Legoland you will not only save $10 off admission gate prices, but you will also recieve a FREE ticket for another day!
Brick-or-Treat is from 5-9pm - dates still available Oct 17, 24, 31
Return ticket can be used anytime between November 1, 2009 & December 25, 2009.
