Every 1st Wednesday you can check out a FREE concerts at Escondido's Center of the Arts!

Two FREE concerts each 1st Wednesday starting at 4pm & 7pm ~ I highly suggest you show up early to make sure you get a ticket!

If your kids (or you) ever need to check out a concert/performance/museum for a school project you do NOT need to fret about trying to find money for admission!  If you plan ahead you can almost always find a freebie like this to fullfill that school project - always make sure to check out our calendar!

'Taste of Downtown' Wednesday 9/1/10

'Taste of Downtown' sounds like the perfect midweek date night to me!  Wednesday September 1st you can enjoy several different cuisines ~ Gaslamp, Financial District, Little Italy, Ballpark, & Horton Plaza.

5-9pm - the cost is $35 per person ( I know this is not exactly inexpensive - but for many of the restaurants featured this special date night is actually a GREAT deal!)

Paws For Reading ~ Wednesday Rancho Bernardo Branch Library

'Paws for reading' is a great way to help kids build confidence while learning to read out loud.  Children kindergarten through 4th grade can read to a certified therapy dog at 5pm on Wednesdays at the Rancho Bernardo Branch Library.

Check for a 'Paws for Reading' program at your local library too!
