IKEA San Diego hosts FREE KIDS birthday parties on the first Tuesday of every month. 4-6pm

Party is for all children turning 10 years old or younger during the selected attended party date. Each birthday child is allowed to invite two of their friends to the party. Event includes face painting, a magic show, soda, and cake. Plus, each birthday child will receive a gift from IKEA.

Balboa Park offers a variety of free museums every Tuesday.  The 1st Tuesday you can visit the following museums ~
Reuben H. Fleet Science Center
Centro Cultural de la Raza
Model Railroad Museum
Natural History Museum

San Diego Botanical Gardens (Quail Botanical Gardens) is FREE every Tuesday! You will still need to pay $2 to park.  If you carpool and have at least 4 people in the car you will get FREE parking too! (I need one more kid!)

Ikea puts on a FREE birthday party for kids every 1st Tuesday.

Kids Eat Free ~ Ikea San Diego Sept 4 ~ Sept 6

Ikea is offering FREE kids meals for Labor Day weekend.  Sept 4th - Sept 6th kids can dine in for free - no purchase necessary - sweet!  $2.49 value.

Ikea of course is going to have an awesome sale going on for Labor Day as well. 

Sometimes our little North County family makes the epic journey to Ikea.  First we let the kiddos enjoy their free meal.  Then we drop them off in the free kids play area. It's so safe and they think they are are Playwerx but it is FREE!  Then my hubby and I walk around for an hour or so kid free and mostly just window shop.  That is a date in my book - is that sad?  Whatever, we are debt free.

Kid's Eat Free ~ San Diego Ikea! now through August 15th

Are you planning a trip to Ikea anytime soon?  San Diego's Ikea is finally participating in the 'Kid's Eat Free' event advertised in the mailer! For some reason SD Ikea does not always participate (boooo!) - but they are now through August 15th!

No adult purchase is necessary & kids can choose any three kids items for NADA! No adult purchase necessary.

I hope many of you can take advantage of this deal! Remember also to drop your potty trained kiddos off at the playroom for an hour of alone time!

Kids Eat Free at IKEA through July 5th (no purchase necessary)

IKEA San Diego has jumped on the 'kids eat free' band wagon yet again!  Now through July 5th kiddos can get a FREE meal (no adult purchase necessary!)

They will have a choice of five meatballs, mac & cheese, PB & J, and much more! It also includes a child size drink.  $2.49 value.

Remember your kiddos can also hang out in the fun and safe play room downstairs while you shop (or window shop) for about 1 hour.  Kids must be potty trained - Don't try bringing in a kid with pull ups, they will turn you away at the door (we found that out the hard way last year - can we say tears?)

There will also (of course!) be an awesome 4th of July sale too!

Ikea is offering a free small breakfast & coffee for Dads on Father's Day.  This appears to be 'no purchase necessary' - but free only for Pops!

Free Breakfast Memorial Day Weekend at Ikea

repost ~ remember if you are out shopping near Ikea you might want to start your day there & take advantage of the free breakfast.

So I am starting to see a trend here - Ikea apparently loves to give their food away for free!  We live a bit to far away to take advantage of this deal - but I hope other readers are able to take advantage...

Free breakfast Saturday May 29 - Monday May 31

this is a small breakfast, includes coffee & is no purchase necessary - nice!

There will of course be a great sale going on at Ikea this Memorial Day weekend too - so if you are going there to shop, just make sure to take advantage of the free breakfast too!

Also - remember that they have a very fun and safe kids club for kiddos that are potty trained.  We LOVE making Ikea trips a couple times a year & our kids think it is a special treat - plus Mommy & Daddy get free babysitting - EVERYBODY wins!

Just got the Ikea mailer and noticed that they are giving away free kid's meals this weekend.  A bit of a drive for us, but if you are going anyway it is a great deal.  Kids have the choice of three different meals complete with drink and two cookies, totally free - no adult purchase required.

Fun free idea - feed the kids for free, then drop them off in the free kids club babysitting area for an hour and then shop with a friend or your hubby - sounds like fun for everyone to me!  I wish we lived a little closer.

Ikea ~ $1 meatball meals March 5th - 7th

Ikea has a special offer this weekend - $1 for a meatball meal in their restaurant - 10 meatballs, lingonberry sauce & mashed potatoes.

We LOVE to take the kids to Ikea to play in their room - it is free for one hour and they have SOOOO much fun! Even if we don't buy anything it is a nice break from the kiddos, we know they are safe and having fun for free!
